The Mangalitsa Pig, also spelled Mangalica and Mangalitza, is a domestic pig breed from Hungary. It is the only surviving European recognised breed with a thick, curly coat from its wild boar ancestry.

It is a hardy, all-weather breed, helped by the thick, curly coat. There are three recognised colour varieties: the sheeplike Blonde, the Red and the Swallow-bellied, developed from the now-extinct Black and the Blonde, it has a charcoal-black topside and flank with a blonde underside. A fatty pig, it was bred in Eastern Europe mainly for lard and salami-type sausages but today is also being trialled for conservation grazing (the sort of rooting and digging previously done by wild boars).
