There are several species of Titi Monkey which differ mainly in the colour (combinations of colour) of their fur.
The Red Titi, also called Coppery, has a copper-red tinge to its grey-brown fur.
Titi Monkeys are native to the Amazon forests and the Red Titi is native to Brazil and Peru.
The Titi has a long, heavy tail for balance when jumping through trees. The tail is not prehensile.
They mate for life and live in family groups.
The father shares in the child care.
These two have their long tails entwined.
