The Bearded Saki Monkeys (genus Chiropotes) have a long tail for balance through the trees (not prehensile) like the Saki Monkeys (genus
Pithecia) but also have a large, bushy beard.
The Red-backed Bearded Saki Monkeys are native to Brazil, north of the Amazon and to the Guianas. They live in large groups.
