De Brazza's Monkey, an African Guenon named after the French explorer after whom the town of Brazzaville in Central Africa is also named,
lives in forests and swamps in Central Africa from Cameroon to Angola on the west coast through to inland Sudan to Kenya in the east.
It has a distinctive face with a bright orange brow, black hair-band and white muzzle and beard.
The orange brow, contrasting black hair-band and black bandit eye-mask with long white beard. They also have an angular
white line on their hind legs. Males are larger than females.
Half an orange is an iconic symbol to a De Brazza.
Fruit and seeds are the main diet.
