Goeldi's Monkey, also called Goeldi's Tamarin or Marmoset, is native to western Brazil, western Colombia, Peru and Bolivia. It is the only species in the
Callimico genus.
They are related to marmosets and tamarins (and have claws like them for running up tree trunks) and also to Capuchin monkeys.
Male and female have a similar appearance.
They live in small family groups.
