The Parma Wallaby was thought to be extinct for over 100 years but some were discovered in 1965 living among another
Wallaby species on one of New Zealand's small islands.
"Shut up! - Don't tell them we're here."
The smallest of Macropus genus, they have
been re-introduced to their native New South Wales, Australia, where other surviving individuals were also found.
The Parma Wallaby is also known as the White-throated Wallaby.
