Dusky Pademelon Thylogale brunii

The Dusky Pademelon, also called Dusky Wallaby, is native to forests of Aru Islands and Papua, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.

Growing to some 2 feet tall (some 65cm) excluding tail, it is mostly solitary and mostly nocturnal, grazing on leaves, shoots, fruit and grass.

It is threatened by hunting and habitat loss.
