Narrow-striped Mongoose Mungotictis decemlineata

The Narrow-striped Mongoose, also called the Bokiboky, is native to dry deciduous forests of western Madagascar but is threatened by deforestation.

They nest in trees or bush and feed mainly on insects but also some bird eggs and small mammals.

Like other mongooses, they live in matriachal communal groups sharing the tasks like raising young and foraging.
