Lyle's Flying Fox Bat Pteropus lylei

Lyle's Flying Fox is a large fruit bat native to Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam, with a small separate population in China.

They live in large flocks eating fruit, pollen, nectar and flowers. They pollinate flowers and disperse fruit seeds.

Populations are vulnerable, being persecuted by farmers and hunted for bushmeat.
