Little Red Flying Fox Bat Pteropus scapulatus

The Little Red Flying Fox Bat is native to northern and eastern Australia and is the smallest of the mainland Flying Fox species. It has reddish-brown body fur and pinkish wings but a dark face. They live in large, nomadic flocks which travel great distances in search of fruit, pollen and nectar, particularly eucalyptus.
