The Tropical Grey Woodlouse is a soil isopod native probably originally to the Mediterranean area but subsequently introduced worldwide to most temperate to tropical regions. Present in the UK, it reaches 12mm long and has typically a lilac grey or grey-mottled body. It is bred in several non-natural colours, particularly blues and oranges, and is often supplied to reptile keepers as prey.
