Pill woodlice are able to roll up in a ball when threatened, although there is a small gap where
head meets body (unlike pill millipedes). This Pill Woodlouse has a distinctive pattern.
While the pattern is very different from the Common Pill Woodlouse, it resembles the pattern on
Porcellio spinicornis, but has a light central line rather than dark. It also has a different tail area.
It grows to 12mm long.
