Dairy Cow Isopod Porcellio laevis

The Dairy Cow Isopod has a black and white piebald pattern and is a large woodlouse at 18mm long. It is smooth-surfaced. Probably originally native to North Africa, it is now found in Europe, including the UK, in the Americas, Asia and Australasia. It is also captive-bred for cleaning terraria and for live food for captive reptiles.

Other colour variants of the same species are bred under different names, such as the White and the Orange Isopod.
