Barbados Blue Snail Pleurodonte isabella

The Barbados Blue Snail, as the name indicates, is native to Barbados, living in most habitats and eating any plant-based matter. The shell can grow to 18mm diameter. Threats include increased clearing and building for human habitation and, more importantly, the introduction of Giant African Land Snails which out-compete them for food.
