The Tramp Slug, also called the Chestnut Slug (but isn't always chestnut-coloured) and the Brown Field Slug (can be grey or brown) is one of three related (Deroceras genus) and similar-looking slugs found commonly in UK gardens, parks and many lowland habitats. It is native to Italy but was introduced to the UK in the 1930s and is also prevalent in several countries wordlwide. It can be distinguished from the Grey Field Slug and the Marsh Slug by the pale border around its breathing hole.
Tramp Slug It grows typically to 2-3cm long, usually has a lighter mantle than lower body and has a dark underside.
