Henia vesuviana is a thin centipede about 50mm long. Females are slightly longer and wider.
They have some 65-75 pairs of legs. The body is mid brown - lighter at the head end and has a long, thin dorsal stripe bordered
by a couple of darker stripes. The head is very small.
Rising up like Vesuvius.
This one was caught in spider's webbing on an oak leaf.
Released. (Looks quite pink on a darker background with more light.)
