Blue Peleng Stick Insect Myronides sp.

The Blue Peleng Stick Insect is native to Peleng Island off Sulawesi, Indonesia. Females are a metallic blue-green and grow up to 10cm long. Males are brown and reach 7cm.

They live in the tree canopy and eat leaves. Lifespan is one year.
