Chrisangi, like other leaf insects, are designed to resemble a leaf for camouflage. Females, above, are broad and flat, 8-9cm long.
Named after Chris Ang who discovered them for science in 2017, they were thought endemic to forests of Singapore but may also be native to
nearby parts of Malaysia and Indonesia.
Males, above, like other leaf insects, are slimmer, smaller (7cm long), have long antennae and have functioning wings for flight.
