Cockroaches are nature's recyclers and the strangely-patterned Question Mark Cockroach of India's dry forests
recycles leaf litter and wood. Like other cockroaches, it is crepuscular/nocturnal and uses pheromones to communicate. It is oval
with black wing cases each marked with a whitish spot, question mark and crescent moon shape; the latter sometimes merge. It grows to 2cm long.
Its black with white spotted pattern mimics India's Domino Beetle which sprays a nasty chemical so
that potential predators leave the cockroach alone.
