Vibrant Hissing Cockroach Princisia vanwaerebeki

There are some 20 species of super-sized, non-flying cockroaches endemic to Madagascar and sharing the name Madagascan Hissing Cockroach. One of these is also called the Vibrant Hisser and can grow to some 7cm long. It is mainly black with two reddish brown marks on the side of the pronutum and orange skirting on the flanks. Males, as usual for the hissers, have small horns.
