Harlequin Cockroach Neostylopyga rhombifolia

Cockroaches are nature's recyclers. The Harlequin Cockroach is native to Indo_Malaysia but is prevalent also in other southern Asia, Oceania and North America. It is typically 2-2.5cm (an inch) long. Like other cockroaches, it is crepuscular/nocturnal and uses pheromones to communicate. It can produce a "pear-drop" smell in defense.
