Elongated Hoverflies
The Hoverfly above, Baccha elongata, has an extremely narrow, elongated waist and pale yellow stripes to mimic an ichneumon wasp.
It is sometimes called the Dainty Hoverfly.
Hoverfly on greater stitchwort - sometimes markings on the body are obscured by the iridescent wings.
