Ceylon Flower Chafer Cetoniinae sp.

The Ceylon Flower Chafer is a rich red flower beetle with a few pale yellow marks on its flanks. As its name indicates, is native to Sri Lanka. As with most flower beetles, grubs eat leaf litter and adults eat pollen/nectar and rotting fruit.
