Variegated Green Skimmer Orthetrum sabina

The Variegated Green Skimmer is native to South and Southeast Asia (these shown in Singapore). It is also prevalent in Japan through to northern Australasia. It also occurs in southeast Europe, Asia Minor, the Middle East and North Africa, where it is known as the Slender Skimmer.

Its wingspan is 60-85cm. Some adults have a slender tail and some have a large clubbed tail. It is very similar to Australasia's Green Skimmer.
