The Migrant Hawker Dragonfly male is sky blue and brown and has a greenish map pin shape in the top segment of its abdomen above a
turquoise blue bar inside two black parallel lines.
The male (above left) has a slim waist; the female (above right) is browner with grey-green instead of blue markings and a fatter waist.
It doesn't have the large "headlights" on the thorax that the Southern Hawker has. It flies from July to October-November.
