The Grey Reef Shark is native to coral reefs of the tropical Indian and Pacific Oceans from
southern Africa through to the mid Pacific.
Grey above and white underside, it has a black border to its tail fin and black on the underside of its pectoral fins
as well as on its small, second dorsal fin and anal fin.
It grows to over two metres long. It can be dangerous to humans and is itself endangered by overfishing.
