The Port Jackson Bullhead Shark is native to the southern coast of Australia. It has distinctive "harness" markings.
It can grow to over 1.5 metres long (the largest of the bullheads) and is mainly nocturnal. They migrate seasonally into coastal bays to spawn
and the female carries the corkscrew-shaped "mermaids' purses" (eggs) in her mouth to wedge in rocks for safety.
