Marble Jellyfish Lynchnoriza lucerna

The Marble Jellyfish is native to the eastern coast of South America, from Venezuela to Argentina. It is found in coastal and even brakish estuarine waters. Its bell reaches 45cm in diameter with tentacles of some 20cm. It develops a marbled pattern on the bell as it ages.
