The Snake Pipefish is native to kelp, seagrass and other seaweed of the northeastern Atlantic from
Norway to the Azores, but excluding the Mediterranean.

slightly banded orange-brown body and a long snout. Males grow to 30-40cm long and females to 45-60cm.
