Pederson's Cleaner Shrimp is native to reefs of the Caribbean Sea and Bermuda and is sometimes called (Pederson's)
Anemone Shrimp since it is usually associated with a host anemone.
The body is mainly transparent with flowing white antennae and blue or violet dotted markings on the legs, back and tail.
The shrimp waves its antennae at passing fish to attract their attention to its cleaning service, eating the
parasites from the fish's body, gills and mouth. Some fish even recognise the host anemone as a likely cleaning station.
