The Green Coris, also called Jade Wrasse and Pastel-green Wrasse, is native to coral reefs and lagoons of the western Pacific.
Its colour varies with location.
It can reach 19cm long. Males are larger, more clourful and bluer green than females, with (more) pink or mauve
streaks on the face and head and no white on the chest. Juveniles have dark blotches on the side (alternative name: Dark-blotched Wrasse)
which disappear in adulthood.
