Two-lined Monocle Bream Scolopsis bilineata

The Two-lined Monocle Bream, also called Bridled Monocle Bream, is a Threadfin Bream not closely related to the Seabreams. It is native to reefs of the Indian and western Pacific Oceans. Usually solitary or in pairs, it can grow to 25cm long but is typically half that. The lines on the head show biofluorescence at night or under ultra-violet light.
