The Leaf Scorpionfish is native to sandy flats of reefs in the Indo-Pacific region. Thin like a leaf, it stays still
in calm water and sways gently from side to side like a leaf in the current.
An ambush predator, it can give a nasty surprise to passing prey or unsuspecting humans. It sheds its skin twice a month,
with the skin on its head breaking up first.
