Globefish
Slender-spined Porcupinefish
The Slender-spined Porcupinefish is also commonly called the Globefish: when threatened, like other puffers/porcupinefish, it puffs its short body out and becomes globular in shape - with its spines erect and is toxic. It is native to the sea off southern Australia. It can grow to 40cm long and is mainly nocturnal.
