Longfin Pompano
The Longfin Pompano is native to the eastern Atlantic, from coasts of Senegal to the Congo. They can grow to 60cm long but are typically half that. As its name indicates, the fins can grow very long. Fins develop a red tinge (unlike the Snub-nosed Pompano, which develops yellow fins). (The Palometa or Gafftopsail Pompano is also sometimes referred to as the Longfin Pompano.)
