The Diagonal-banded or Oblique-banded Sweetlips is native to coral reefs in the western Pacific.
It is white with diagonal black lines and spots and yellow lips and fins. It can grow to some 70cm long but more typically is some 50-60cm.
Diet is small fish, crustaceans and molluscs, mainly at night.
The Black-spotted Sweetlips, also Black-spotted Rubberlip, is native to reefs in the western Pacific, in particular
the eastern African coast to the Red Sea. It is white with black spots, a dusky head and yellow lips and fins. It can grow to some 50cm long
but more typically is 35cm.
