Sleeper Banded Goby Amblygobius phalaena

The Sleeper Banded Goby, also called the White-barred Goby, is native to tropical reefs of the Indian and western Pacific Oceans. It grows to 15cm long.

It feeds by taking in mouthfuls of sand and extracting invertebrates, algae and other organic matter, cleaning the sand/substrate as it sifts.
