Fan-bellied Leather-jacket Monacanthus chinensis

The Fan-bellied Leather-jacket is a filefish native to tropical reefs, seagrass and muddy estuaries of the western Pacific Ocean, from Malaysia/Indonesia to northeastern Australia and Samoa. It grows to 40cm long and can vary the lightness or darkness of its body to maximise camouflage.
