Rolland's Demoiselle Chrysiptera rollandi

Rolland's Demoiselle or Damselfish is native to tropical reefs of the eastern Indian and western Pacific Oceans. It grows to 7cm long. It usually swims alone but may form a small group.

Rolland's Demoiselle has two different variants or colour forms: the grey-blue front half shown in the top row and sometimes called the Black Cap Damsel (there are luminescent blue lines on the head) and the yellow-headed variant shown in the row immediately above, sometimes called the Tricolour Damsel.
