The Cloudy Dascyllus is a damselfish native to tropical reefs of the Indian Ocean. It grows to 7cm long.
The meshed body can look light or dark with one (frontal) or two (front and rear) dark bars but always has a white tail.
The meshed body can look similar to the related Reticulate Dascyllus, D. reticulatus, both fish shown
above, but the white tail usually distinguishes the Cloudy.
