The Comet, also known as the Marine Betta or Marine Betta/Comet Grouper, used to be classed as a Grouper
but is now classed as a Longfin in a different "grouping". It is native to reefs of the Indo-Pacific and grows to 20cm long.
When its long fins are extended, it shows a false eye to confuse prey as well as predators. Despite its size and beauty,
it is a shy fish hiding in rock caves in the day and hunting crustaceans and small fish by night.
