The Threadfin Cardinalfish, also called the Bluestreak Cardinal and the Ghost Cardinal (another fish is also called the
Ghost Cardinalfish, Nectamia fusca), is native to sheltered coral reefs of the Indian and western Pacific Oceans.
Its is semi-translucent with iridescent purple-blue eyerings and iridescent purple-blue vertical lines on the head
and front flanks of adults only. It grows to 6cm long and swims in small groups.
