The Pacific Double-saddled Butterflyfish, also called the False Facula Buterflyfish, looks similar to the Facula or Black-wedged Butterflyfish, which is sometimes called the Indian Double-saddled, but the latter has sharp black wedges for "saddles".

The Pacific Double-saddled is native to coral reefs of the western to central Pacific Ocean. (The Black-wedged has a more westerly distribution of the Indian Ocean.) Adults reach some 15cm long.
