Latticed Butterflyfish Chaetodon rafflesii

The Latticed Butterflyfish, also called Raffles' Butterflyfish after keen naturalist Sir Stamford Raffles, founder of London Zoo (and Singapore), is native to coral reefs of the Indo-Pacific.

The fish can grow to 18cm long and diet is coral polyps and sea anemones. The final image above right of a dark individual may have a temporary colour change through stress.
