The Black-nosed (also Blacknose) Butterflyfish is a silvery yellow colour with a white and black face, but can look greyish
in blue water/light and, like several butterflyfish, can blanch itself somewhat. It is native to reefs of the eastern Pacific from the Gulf of
California to Panama and the Galapagos Islands. It is sometimes called the Barberfish from the Spanish name for it.
The only member of its genus, it grows to 20cm long. It often works as a cleaner fish.
