Tongan Canary Blenny Meiacanthus tongaensis

The Tongan Canary Blenny is native to reefs around Tonga. It grows to 6-7cm long, is "canary" yellow with a black stripe, a green head and a forked tail. Diet is zooplankton. It is similar to the Canary Blenny (also Canary/Oulan Fangblenny and Oulan Canary Blenny) of Polynesia, but the latter, native to reefs around Fiji, does not have the black stripe or green head and grows to 5cm long.
