The Semicircle or Semicircled Angelfish is native to shallow, warm seas of the Indo-Pacific, from
East Africa to Fiji/Samoa. Adults are blue-green (not the pinkish brown shown in the images above) with blue line markings,
fluorescent blue edging and reach 40 cm long.
Juveniles, like many Angelfish, are dark blue with white stripes. Juveniles (and sometimes adults) are usually
referred to as Koran Angelfish due to the markings on their tails.
