The Rock Beauty Angelfish is native to rocks and reefs along the east coast of America from the Gulf of Mexico to northern
South America. A little similar to the Bicoloured (but without the black forehead), it has 3 colours including red border lines - taxonomic name "tricolor".
Adults can reach some 25cm long.
Juveniles are yellow with a small black spot which grows larger as they grow. All juveniles are female.
These above have stronger lipstick.
