Blue-striped Angelfish Chaetodontoplus septentrionalis

The Blue-striped Angelfish is native to rocky or coral reefs along the coasts of China, southern Japan and Korea.

Adults are khaki or greenish or brown with blue lateral stripes and a bright yellow tail. They grow to some 25cm length.

Diet is mainly sponges, algae and tunicates. Juveniles are black with a bright yellow collar bar.
