Blue Ring Angelfish Pomacanthus annularis

The Blue Ring Angelfish is native to rocky and coral reefs in the Indian Ocean and the Southeast Asian Pacific.

Adults have a prominent blue ring on their "shoulder" and are a yellowy-brown colour with curved blue lines. The tail is white.

Adults reach some 30-45 cm long. Juveniles are dark blue with white stripes and are all born female.
